It's official now. I'm now very old. I'm 29 plus 1. I still can't bring myself to actually say the number. Doug surprised me with a birthday bash that I didn't know about. He was out of town for the weekend, so I didn't think he would have planned anything. But he called my good friend and she was enlisted in the details that he wouldn't think of. Joy made this georgeous and very yummy cake. It was so so good. I went to visit teach(which I didn't know she was in on this) at a certain time, so Doug could set up and clean up the house. It was curious that Doug really wanted to clean up the house right after church. Now, it makes sense. Well, I was completely surprised and we had a good time with our friends and their kids. I got great gifts. My favorite of course is from Doug. He resized my ring. I got teary when he gave it to me because I haven't worn it since a little while before Josh was born. So, it's been over 2 1/2 years without a ring. It's just what I wanted. I'm very blessed to have a great husband, family and really good friends here. Thanks again.

Old? Yeah right. You are young! At least you've got something to show, all those beautiful kids! There are a lot of 30+ year olds in our ward that do not have any kids. I'm not sure why, if they don't want any for a while or if they just haven't been able to yet. Happy Birthday Emily!!! That cake does look yummy!
