Before Soccer began we headed one Saturday to get McDonalds and eat it at the park and then play soccer for a while. The kids enjoyed it. This was the same soccer field that Doug played on as a kid. Such a small world.
Logan looks so determined! McKay hasn't been as successful at soccer lately because a Hispanic boy named Walter is way good and always takes/gets the ball and dribbles it down to the net and scores. Despite the efforts of the coach, Walter hasn't learned to pass. Last week McKay told me he (McKay) was a loser because he couldn't get the ball. Now to pump him up and get him excited again - and keep his head in the game, because he likes to pick the grass etc. He does always report to me that he likes to help others up when they get knocked down. :)
