Sawyer is One!

Sawyer is now One year old! We celebrated and he started out pretty clean and tidy, but ended up really messy. He didn't like eating the cake much, but he loved playing in it and wiping it on his face.

Doug picked out the cake. I was just going to make cupcakes, but then Doug saw the "famous Chocolate Cake" at Costco. You know what I'm talking about, that huge one that no one really needs to eat. But yes, Sawyer needed, he said. We had to find another family to give away half the cake on Sunday evening or we would have to jog to Utah and back.

We're getting smarter with presents. Right now I currently put away half of their toys, not that you could tell that from looking. So for Sawyer's birthday gift, he got Madi's winnie the pooh car that you push around or ride on. He loves it and walks behind it all day long. But what was cuter, was Julia, Spencer, and Madisen's gifts. They each decorated white paper, found an old toy they said they didn't want and then wrapped it up. I think Sawyer ended up with about 6 gifts. It was really cute. They all ended up "helping opening the gifts" which they loved too. It was a fun day.




Sawyer's a really good baby. He is the best sleeper, better than the other three. And he loves his naps, but I love them more.
