Okay, I haven't written or posted anything for a little while. So, I'll tell you what's going on in the South. It's summer, well at least for me. We've eaten all of our meals outside for almost a week now. I like that because at least the crumbs aren't in the kitchen. Last Saturday was a lot of fun. I planted the garden with the kids help, while Doug planted the citrus trees. I'm so excited because we're planting a lemon, lime, orange, mandarin orange (for Julia), and peach, and I'm pushing for a pecan tree too. I don't think we've ever stayed in one place for a tree to even bloom for us to see, so our plan is to stay put for a while and watch the fruit grow. So, after planting, we went and played soccer in some green space behind us. Doug bought the kids their own soccer balls because they are going to play soccer in a month. They loved it. Then we came and had an ice cream snack and then headed to the store for things we needed to survive the following week.
I love Saturdays because we get so much done and I get Doug all day at home. It's so much fun. Julia has just lost another tooth, which would be the second in one week. She is up to 5 teeth lost, which is more than I remember losing in kindergarten.
Julia was just invited to a birthday party on a Sunday. It's our first test we could say. But she didn't even question or complain, she just understood that we don't do things with friends on Sunday and it's our day to go to church. So, we're bringing him a present on Saturday which she's excited about.
I guess that's about all I can think about right now. So, I'll write again soon and post pictures of Julia's empty mouth.

You finally updated your blog!!!! Just kidding. You're probably busy doing things like making quilts for your expecting sister. :) I love Saturdays too, but we aren't exactly planting gardens around here. However, the weather has been nicer this week and it's been great to get outside.
