We went to Brazos Bend state park over the weekend with the fam. We've never been there, but were told you go and walk around the trails and find alligators laying around. It was a bit colder than normal, so we only found one on the path, but it was big enough and close enough to make our trip quite exciting. The rest we found in the water or on the mini islands. Julia was hilarious. She was terrified (and I was wondering if the gators really stayed still), but she has in her hands the map and all of the "gator warnings". She read them at least 3 times and had them memorized, it was hilarious. She told us not to run away, just slowly, quietly walk away if it hisses at you. You also get a glimspe of my very big belly. Madisen also lost a shoe on this walk. She's pretty amazing. They were hurting her feet, so she was carried and somewhere we lost them both. Doug went back to find them and found only one. There goes another pair of shoes.

I bet an alligator ate her shoe!
That's what Doug told her, and she believed it. It was pretty funny.
That is so great that your Mom and Dad and sister visited you for Thanksgiving. How fun! From the picture it looks like you are about ready to pop! :) Let us know the big news when it happens.
